Sakho
Slaven Bilic believes the club now has enough strikers at the club and will not be investing in anymore.

Diafra Sakho is now back in full training with the squad and “looking very strong indeed ” which looks set to give the manager another big option.

However, Andy Carroll remains on the first team sidelines whilst the club medics work on his muscle building programme ahead of the season.

Sakho has been taking a full part in all the first team squad action and looking was last night tipped to be in contention for a first team place at the start of the season

ClaretandHugh was told: “Sakho is going well at the moment and looking very strong. He might well become fantastic back up .

“We also have Andy although we still have to get him up to 100 per cent fitness and the medical staff are working hard hard on him.”

Bilic has made his decision following Chicharito’s arrival at the club but that doesn’t mean the club’s spending is at an end for the summer.

CandH’s source said: “It’s really difficult to get top strikers to come and sit on the bench and with Ayew and Antonio besides Carroll and Sakho there’s back up available. We still need to be moving one or to out and investing in some younger options we have identified.”

Haha dont check twitter then. Carroll was pictured last night in Ibiza with fans.

If Bilic is relying on Carroll and Sakho even to be back ups then he is a idiot. Should be regarded as bonuses if they are fit, nothing more. We need another ST to come in on loan or a decent value perm.

Sakho is Backho?

Re: Sakho
Sakho is possibly to much of an egotistical sulk to await his turn on the bench without being disruptive.

Re: Sakho
If Sakho can come back as a rehabilitated player physically and mentally, he will be a terrific, exciting asset for the team.

If.

Re: Sakho
i do not fucking care about sakho or caroll, in fact i wish that we would just get them out of the club tomorrow so we can stop using them as an excuse not to get a decent back up striker for Hernandez who can actually play.

No, the answer is not ashley fletcher.

Re: Sakho
I would be amazed if he lasts more than a game or two before his back going. Even if he has a miraculous recovery of biblical proportions Bilic won't forget his numerous strops and will be sold off.

Re: Sakho
as said below - if he is 100% right both mentally and physically then he's a great option to have.

its a big IF though.

Re: Sakho
silly gamble based on his injury record over the last 2 years

no good doing great transfer business and then taking a gamble like this

Re: Sakho
Not good reading, an injury to Chicharito and we are basically in the same position as last year.

Look at our history with newly signed forwards that are the big hope for the future, more often than not at West Ham they get injured and we are without our new first choice stricker. We should be still looking for a second fully fit forward of good quality for the Prem... That was supposed to be aim, why change because we have one sorted...

Slav's a likeable chap, but he's fucking naive if he thinks we don't need another striker.

He's said he thinks Sakho, Fletcher and Ayew are enough back up

Re: Sakho
Sakho is a gamble, mentally and physically. We don't know what kind of player will come back. Fletcher should be shipped out on loan, or sold. I don't believe he's got what it takes. Ayew is not an out and out striker, ala Hernandez. We need one more.

Re: Sakho
I still find it amazing AC is not fit, he was taken out of the squad 4 or 5 games before then end of the season as a precaution, he's had no op or anything so how can he be unfit.

claret

it was reported that he had a groin injury, not left out.

Re: Sakho
One of Sakho's complaints in the past was Carroll was paid about three times what he got. Now he knows Chicherito gets around four times his wages. He's not going to be very happy is he?
